             2008 - 2009 Bus Driver Information

BUS ALERTS :

*Please be patient with us in the first few weeks of school.
The buses do run late in the AM and PM as everyone, drivers, students and parents alike, get back into the routine!

In acccordance with the Commissioner of Education's guidelines, school bus transportation is provided to all students in the Honeoye Falls-Lima District who attend both public and non-public schools.  The District transports in excess of 2,925 students over 3,400 miles back and forth to school daily. Our school buses travel well over 740,000 miles every year.

Student safety and welfare is our primary consideration in the implementation of transportation policies and procedures. When establishing school bus routes we consider safety, economy of operation and compliance with school time schedules.

We look forward to serving you and your student(s). You are welcome to visit us at the Transportation Department, located at 667 Quaker Meeting House Rd., anytime. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 624-7045 or 624-7046.

We as a department are trying to help with rising fuel costs.  Here are some ideas for parents:

1.  Please call the Department if your child won't be riding the bus. Our office hours are from 6:00 AM till 4:00 PM.  We also have voicemail, so you can leave a message at any time.

2.  Make sure your child is at the bus stop five minutes before his or her scheduled pick up time.

3.  Please fill out three part forms for daycare changes to ensure your child gets on the proper bus.
