The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction's main responsibility is to ensure the continued improvement of the instructional program of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District.  The Strategic Intents guide us in our improvement efforts and benchmarks our student achievement goals.  The Curriculum Articulation Resource Educator (CARE) representatives, teachers, support staff, and administrators work together to align our program to ensure that we assess and improve our instructional program to continue to build student success.

The Teaching Learning Council (TLC) meets bi-monthly to discuss the current status of our programming, plan for Superintendent Conference Day, review curriculum writing proposals and curriculum map, and review student assessment data.  The CARE representatives, administrators, as well as community and Board of Education representatives serve on this team.

The Teaching Learning Technology Committee (TLT) meets monthly to discuss the integration of technology into the school setting.  Community representatives, PTA representatives, Instructional Technology Staff and administrators all serve on this committee.

VISION
It is our vision to create a learning organization that is the centerpiece of the community, where all are welcomed and valued as part of a caring, educationally challenging environment.  Our students are the reason for all we do and are at the heart of every decision we make.

We will focus on teaching, learning, and high standards.  Our students will be prepared for the challenges of the future.  Our graduates will think independently, solve problems, work cooperatively, and promote positive citizenship.

Our district will diligently engage in the daily pursuit of excellence.  We will be collectively defined by our energy, enthusiasm and dedication.

MISSION
The Honeoye Falls-Lima School Community is committed to producing graduates who value themselves and others, attain their highest level of achievement, contribute to the community, and succeed in a changing world; as measured by our district exit level standards.
