Annual School Census
The Honeoye Falls-Lima School District will
conduct an annual census to update information on pre-school and
school-age children. Families with children in grades
K-12 at HF-L, families with children enrolled in private schools,
and residents with no children in the District will receive the
census form through the mail. Census forms will be mailed on
May 1. Residents are asked to reply as soon as possible, and
according to the instructions on the form.
"The census is completed each year because the District needs to
know how many children live within its boundaries as it plans and
organizes educational programs and facilities for the future," said
Renee Williams, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and
Instruction.
Enrollment projections for HF-L are computed by the Monroe #1
BOCES by using several factors: district census data, current school
enrollment data and traditional enrollment pattern data, including
the numbers of students moving into and out of the District.
If residents have questions regarding the school census or do not
receive a census form, they should call the District Census Office
at 624-7135.
