2008 Valedictorian, Amanda Moyer

This year’s Valedictorian award is presented to Amanda Moyer, daughter of Bradley and Kellie Moyer.  Amanda will be graduating with a cumulative grade point average of 4.019.  Amanda received the Yale Book Award, two American Chemical Society Awards and an Academic All-American Award.  A well-rounded scholar and athlete, she also earned  varsity letters in soccer and lacrosse and was voted  captain for her varsity and junior varsity soccer teams, as well as her junior varsity basketball team.  Amanda has also served as a National Honor Society tutor and has been a volunteer for Cameron Community Ministry Bowling, Intergenerational Fellowship Committee, Community Clean Up, and Special Olympics, and has served as a Sunday School Teacher.  We extend our sincere congratulations to Amanda for all of her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck as she pursues her academic future in college.  She plans to attend Wilkes University.

2008 Salutatorian, Bethany Allport

This year’s Salutatorian award is presented to Bethany Allport, daughter of David and Catherine Allport.  Bethany will be graduating with a cumulative grade point average of 3.945.  Also a high achieving student athlete, she was nominated for the National Scholar Athletic games and was inducted into the National Honor Society.  An athlete in both soccer and basketball, she was named the Livingston County Player of the Year, 1st Team All Greater Rochester and 3rd Team Allstate for soccer.  She also earned Empire State gold medals in both soccer and basketball.  Bethany has served as a tutor for School 28 in the city of Rochester.  We extend our congratulations to Bethany for all of her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck as she pursues her academic future in college.  She plans to attend Central Michigan University.
