HF-L and Monroe #1 BOCES to Host Teaching, Learning and Technology Conference at Nazareth College

Nazareth College, the Honeoye Falls - Lima School District and Monroe #1 BOCES are pleased to present a Teaching, Learning and Technology Conference to be held on August 6 - 8 at Nazareth College.  Area teachers are invited to join their colleagues from around Greater Rochester and the Upstate NY Region to explore and learn about creating the bridge to learning through technology.  The conference aims to support teachers who are seeking to build their information literacy, create bridges to learning through technology, connect learning K-12 and beyond and help students become skillful producers and consumers of quality digital information. 

By joining us, you'll have an opportunity to attend a series of workshops over three days, work independently at self-directed kiosks, select topics relevent to your classroom and student needs and connect with experts and peers on topics of interest regardless of your technology level.  Session topics include virtual worlds, social networking, wikis and blogs, tablets and smartboards, podcasting, multimedia tools and assistive technology.  Facilitators at the event are technology experts, teachers and Nazareth School of Education faculty and students.
