Re: High School Graduation Informational Meeting
PRESS RELEASE

Members of our community have requested of our School District that the district review, for possible revision, our High School graduation ceremony. Over the next five years, the high school will be graduating four of the five largest classes currently in the district, therefore now is an appropriate time to address these concerns. As a result, a committee has been formed consisting of students, parents, staff members and community members to make recommendations for graduation ceremonies in 2010 and beyond. The committee met throughout the summer and studied everything from the financial impact of graduation, to the logistics of the event, including the venue, seating, duration, safety and backup plans in case of inclement weather. They would like to present their data and recommendations to the community at an informational meeting on Monday, September 28, at 7pm in the HS Auditorium. All are invited to attend.
