Welcome to Lima Primary School

As principal of your school my goal is to establish a warm, caring and safe environment where all children experience success and a zest for learning. Developing student growth intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically is an integral focus in all that we do.

This year's kindergartners are the class of 2021 causing us to look through a critical lens to forcast their future.  In order for these students to be prepared for our global world, we recognized the need to make some changes in our vision of primary education. Enabling children to extend their natural curiosity through inquiry continues to be one of our goals, enhancing learning not only in science and social studies, but all day long. Our enriched developmental kindergarten program includes Spanish, Art and Music in addition to oureffective literacy and math programs. Play, nutrition and fitness are essential components to student growth and development too.  Brain gym activities are interspersed throughout the day to keep our minds active.  The faculty and staff at Lima Primary put students at the forefront of all we do.

My door is open to you. I welcome any comments, suggestions, or questions from parents and friends. Communication is critical. As partners in your child's education, we will make a difference for all of the students in our learning community  Students, staff, and parents are all highly valued, integral members of our learning community needed to support our students and our theme for the year - "Imagine, believe, achieve!"
