Evaluations of our programs happen on a four-year cycle. Within the Program Evaluation Process, we review our current curriculum, instructional strategies, resources, student achievement, and current research in the area being reviewed. Teams of teachers often joined by consultants who are knowledgeable in the program area, work for 5 months to complete their work. Between sessions, teams gather data, review research, and formulate questions for the team to consider as a part of their review. The Program Evaluations end with recommendations on how to improve the quality of the program, improving student learning, and how the results may impact other programs.
These recommendations are used as the Decision Input Units (DIUs) create their operational plans as a part of our Quality Education Design (QED) budget program process.
