School Emergency Response Planning
The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District is committed to the safety and preparedness of its students, staff and its visitors. Our District-Wide School Safety Plan is an all-hazards approach to crisis management and focuses on mitigation/prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery procedures.
The New York State Education Department is requiring all schools to update their District-Wide Emergency Response Plan/Safety Plan with a new procedure. This procedure is to cover an Emergency created by a “Communicable Disease Event”. The District has drafted this procedure, and we are sharing it with the public for comment, as required by this new regulation.
