Posted on 06/10/2020

Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District has been ranked near the top school district for the tenth consecutive year in Business First's 2020 academic rankings for the Rochester Area, which consists of eight counties and 67 school districts. HFLCSD has earned this number two position since 2013.  Business First debuted these rankings for Rochester’s eight-county region in 2010.

The district rankings are based on four years of test data and graduation rates obtained from the New York State Education Department. They reflect the overall performance of all public schools within any given district, based on test results from third grade through the senior year of high school. HFLCSD was ranked as the region’s top performer in Social Studies.

Among high schools in the Rochester Area, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School was ranked third.

Business First rated 88 public high schools across the Rochester Area, using four years of Regents test data and graduation rates. All raw statistics came from the New York State Education Department. Business First defines the Rochester Area as a zone of eight counties — Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates.

Congratulations to the entire HF-L community!
