Using federal grants to help fund a robust professional learning opportunity for 100% of HF-L's K-2 teachers, this summer our teachers have begun the journey in "LETRS." This two year commitment is to give our teachers the latest information and most up to date training in the science of reading which is focused on reading, spelling, and related language skills.
The HF-L school district is thankful to all the staff who've already begun training this summer (2023). The teachers are engaged in live in person training, online course components, practice with students in the classroom, and further live in person support.
