Dear HF-L Community,

The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District has become aware of concerns circulating on social media regarding the High School. The District thoroughly investigated the allegation and addressed the situation appropriately. A comprehensive assessment was conducted, involving District administration, mental health and security staff, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon further investigation, it has been determined that no threat exists to students, staff, or the HF-L community as a whole. The District remains unwavering in our commitment to prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. We extend our appreciation to all those involved for their diligence in ensuring the safety of our campus for everyone.

In these challenging times, let us also emphasize the importance of always showing kindness and empathy towards others. If you see something, say something – not only in matters of safety but also in fostering a culture of support and understanding within our community.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind the community that the District employs a Problem Solving Protocol, accessible on our District website at https://5il.co/10p78.

We understand the community's interest in this matter, but due to its sensitive nature, we must stress the confidentiality of the ongoing investigation. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any further information at this time.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
