Thank you to everyone in the Honeoye Falls-Lima community who participated in this year’s school district vote. Your voice matters, and your continued engagement plays a vital role in the success of our schools.
“Tonight’s outcome is ultimately about our students. With this support, we can continue to provide the academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and support systems that help every learner grow, achieve, and thrive,” said Superintendent Gene Mancuso.
Voters approved proposition #1, the proposed 2026-27 school budget, with a final tally of 774 in favor and 361 against.
Proposition #2, which authorizes the purchase of school buses, passed with 777 votes in favor and 356 against.
Congratulations to the three community members elected to serve on the Board of Education. The newly elected board members received the following number of votes.
Julie Masterson – 732 votes
Caralyn Ross – 633 votes
Lynley Guckian – 574 votes
