We are pleased to announce the re-opening of playgrounds and fields for use.
Effective July 20, 2020
In order to rent the a field you must review and adhere to the following:
Visit https://www.governor.ny.gov/sites/governor.ny.gov/files/atoms/files/NYS_BusinessReopeningSafetyPlanTemplate.pdf and complete the template for safely reopening. You will need to provide details of your safety plan in this template. Once complete, print several copies to keep on hand.

As part of the reservation process you will need to submit a copy of the printed safety plan. You will also be required to submit proof of insurance and agree to the facility use guidelines, including applicable fees. All documents must be emailed to alecia.barker@hflcsd.org before your request can be completed and approved.

You will be responsible for following the NYS Recreation Guidelines. Please review.
While on campus, please keep copies of your safety plan available. At any time, a participant can ask for a copy. In addition, in the event of a visit from the Monroe County Health Department, they will request a copy.
Additional Notes:
- You must pre-screen your participants each day prior to participation.
- It is important that you keep daily attendance of participants in your activity on campus.
- The district will not provide cleaning supplies, we will maintain the facility as per past practice.
- Restrooms (indoor or out) will not be available on campus.
At this time we are not renting or opening any inside facilities. We hope to have clear guidance from the state of New York on these requirements in the near future.
We are currently working to staff the swimming pool and hope to have a schedule as soon as practicable.

The Facilities Department is responsible for the operations and maintenance of all district owned property. The District consists of over 460,000 square feet of buildings and nearly 115 acres of land.
The Facilities Department is made up of a director, secretary, 24 custodial staff, 5 mechanics and 3 grounds keepers.
